Community Service

Providing support and care to the communities in which we live and work is an important part of our culture.

Our employees are involved in a large number of charitable and community organizations and the Puget Sound Business Journal has designated Clark Nuber as one of Washington State’s Top Corporate Philanthropists.

We also contribute to our local community through our company-wide “Caring, Serving, Giving” program, which includes:

  • Day of Caring – Each year the firm shuts down for one day so that we can participate in an all-firm volunteer day that benefits a local charity.  Organizations we have worked with in the past include Northwest Harvest, EarthCorps, and Jubilee Reach.
  • Monthly Denim Days – One Friday of every month, employees may wear denim if they donate a minimum of $10 to that month’s selected charitable organization.
  • United Way Campaigns – Each year we coordinate a United Way campaign. We raise funds through the annual campaign, a chili cook-off, and weekly Denim Days every Friday during the month of November.
  • The Big Climb – We sponsor a team of employees and their friends/families to participate in The Big Climb, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Washington/Alaska chapter’s largest fundraiser.
  • Food Lifeline’s Food Frenzy – We compete against other local businesses to raise funds and food for hungry children in our community during the summer months.
  • Treehouse Pajama Drive – Every December Clark Nuber partners with Treehouse to provide pajamas to foster kids.
  • Holiday Giving Trees – Each year we work with an organization to adopt several families. We decorate trees representing each family with tags listing wishes from each family member. Our folks then take a tag and fulfill the wish, leaving the gift-wrapped present under the tree.
