Not-for-Profit Basics: Related Party Transactions & Compensation
November 1 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
$25We invite you to join us on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, for the Not-for-Profit Basics: Related Party Transactions & Compensation webinar. Certain related party transactions are required to be disclosed in an organization’s financial statement footnotes. We will help you with best practices for discovering potential related party disclosures and when a transaction may need to be disclosed in the financial statements.
Additionally, with the Form 990 open to public disclosure, so too is the compensation of your organization’s top officials and employees. We will discuss the different categories of who needs to be listed on the return, what compensation to report, and additional disclosures that may be required in any given year. We will also identify what types of related party transactions may be disclosed and when those transactions may be problematic for the organization.
