This introduction to Fund Accounting reports provides an overview of MIP’s fundamental and intermediate reporting capabilities and structure. Hands on exercises familiarize participants with the fundamentals of working with default reports as well as creating custom reports. Participants will learn how to utilize the quick financial statements and default financial statements features, plus how to create basic custom financial statements. Custom columns, report groups, and the drill-down analyzer will be reviewed.

The Advanced Reporting workshop covers the creation of financial statements setup and formats and the creation of complex financial statements. The use of segment substitution, custom columns, report groups, segment substitution with report groups, and column subtotals will be introduced in various FAS 117 required financial statements. Creating charts, forecasting and the drill down analyzer are also discussed. We will leave time at the end of class to help you figure out how to create reports needed for your organization.
