Mar 10, 2017, Bellevue, WA – Clark Nuber PS, a CPA and consulting firm headquartered in the Seattle metropolitan area, has been named a 2016 Gold Fit-Friendly Worksite by the American Heart Association (AHA) for the second straight year.

This award is a result of activities surrounding Clark Nuber’s Wellness Program. Started in 2011, Clark Nuber’s Wellness Program promotes and coordinates health and wellness activities that encourage disease prevention and healthy lifestyles for its employees. Hosting an annual Health Fair, providing healthy snacks at the office, and offering lunch-and-learns on a wide range of well-being topics are just a few of the things that Clark Nuber does to promote a fit-friendly work environment.

“Clark Nuber focuses on the success of our people as well as our clients. Creating a culture of wellness by providing support to our employees is part of that focus. I would like to thank Catherine Moran for her role coordinating our Wellness Program.  We appreciate her dedication and passion for supporting and encouraging a healthy workplace,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Tracy White.

The AHA awards Gold Level Fit-Friendly status for worksites that fulfill criteria such as offering employees physical activity support, increasing healthy eating options at work and promoting a wellness culture. For more information about these programs please visit Heart.org.
